Disneyland Park: a kingdom of magic and enchantment
Opened in 1992 in Marne-la-Vallée, Disneyland Park is an enchanted kingdom that includes 34 attractions in five different worlds. First of all, “Main Street USA” revisits Walt Disney’s childhood memories. There are many buildings and decorations characteristic of the early 20th century. “Frontierland” revisits the history of American pioneers and the gold rush. After a cruise on a steamboat, set off to visit a haunted manor and enjoy the thrill of the ""Mine Train"". “Adventureland” is an ode to change of scenery: you will travel from the lush jungle to African huts, passing through a fortress from the Arabian Nights. “Fantasyland” is a medieval village with its iconic “Sleeping Beauty” castle. After a meeting with Mickey, relive the nostalgia of fairy tales from your childhood. Finally, ""Discoveryland"" is an archetypal futuristic city where you will find robots and space conquest scenarios: the ”Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain” and its famous “Columbiad canon” await you.
Walt Disney Studios Park: behind the scenes of Hollywood filming
Located next to Disneyland Park and inaugurated on March 16, 2002, Walt Disney Studios Park has 16 attractions. At the end of the Lumière Brothers square, you’ll enter Studio 1, a faithful reconstruction of the backstage scene of a movie set during the golden age of Hollywood. After crossing the studio, head to the “Production Courtyard”. A breathtaking panorama of the hills housing the Hollywood sign is waiting for you. At the end of the main corridor, the Studio Tram Tour will give you a behind the scenes look the production techniques and special effects. Fasten your seatbelts and literally take a leap into the fourth dimension on your way to the ""Tower of Terror"". You'll continue your journey to ""Toon Studio"", the area dedicated to cartoon design. You will be reduced to the size of Andy's toys in the ""Toy Story Playland"" and end your crazy adventure by exploring the scenic route dedicated to the movie ""Ratatouille""
